These terms govern your use of Modiprompt, the Chrome extension and website at modiprompt.pro. By installing the extension or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Modiprompt records your voice, transcribes it, and rewrites the transcript using an AI model in one of three modes — Refine, Compress, or Expand — then lets you insert the result into a text field on any website. The service depends on third-party AI providers and is offered on an “as is” basis.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be at least 13 years old. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Free plan and your API key
The Free plan operates on a Bring-Your-Own-Key basis: you supply your own OpenRouter API key, and your browser communicates with OpenRouter directly. You are solely responsible for that key and for any usage charges OpenRouter bills you. Keep your key secure; anyone with access to your browser profile could use it.
Pro subscription and billing
- Pro costs $10 per month, billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- On Pro, Modiprompt provides and manages the API key, so you do not need your own.
- You may cancel at any time; your Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Modiprompt to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others.
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
- Circumvent usage controls or abuse the Pro proxy to an extent that degrades the service for others.
AI output
Transcription and AI rewriting are imperfect. Output may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you use it — that is why Modiprompt shows you a review step by default. Do not rely on the output for any purpose where an error could cause harm without independent verification.
Third-party services
Modiprompt relies on OpenRouter, Supabase, Stripe, and Cloudflare. Your use of the service is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modiprompt and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or third-party API costs arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Modiprompt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms it or other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated to account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
